Description: Like all Heywood-Wakefield upholstered goods, this davenport is hand-built to last. The frame is 100% solid hardwood (birch or maple); the exposed wooden trim is 100% solid birch. We never use poplar or alder, woods you will find in lesser-quality upholstered furniture. The interior construction features 8-way hand-tied 9-inch coil springs for a traditional long-lasting quality feel; we never use "no-sag" springs.

We provide a wide choice of custom designer fabrics at discounted prices, but you are also welcome to supply your own fabric. The price shown for each Heywood-Wakefield upholstered piece does not include fabric but it does include all fabric installation, whether you use our fabric or your own. If you choose to use your own fabric, you will be instructed at the time of your order to send the fabric to our factory, where it will be installed on your piece.

The Madeline Davenport is also available without arms, as a sectional (one right-arm section and one left, with or without additional armless fillers), and in custom sizes. The channels in the davenport are approximately six and one-half inches wide, so you can go up or down in increments of 6-1/2" for a custom-sized piece. The Madeline is also available as a Love Seat, built to your specification in increments of 6-1/2 inches.
